The Mount Hutt trail network would simply not exist without the contributions that volunteers have made over the past two decades. Volunteer work forms the backbone of our organization, from continual trail clearing, especially in the spring when nothing stops growing, to trail building to checking and resetting traps to marshalling at events there are numerous ways for you to get involved with Bike Methven.

• As you will have experienced there are many kms of trails which continually need work, whether you have your own gear to help with maintenance or you would like to come out with one of us or get on the end of a shovel.
• Flaggers, trail marshals, sweeps for events or running the BBQ afterwards. Our races are entirely volunteer organized.
