Note: All times are subject to change. Follow the Cycling NZ Schools Facebook event for updates and check you are viewing the latest manual version.


Registration/Race plate pick up:

  • All plates are packaged per school. Individual plates will not be broken out of school packs at registration. 
  • Plates are available to be picked up at Registration Office from Wednesday 0700 onwards. 
  • Riders use the same plate for all events.
  • Prizegivings will be at the event village in the information carpark. Saturday an earlier prizegiving is planned to allow teams to head off. 


MONDAY/TUESDAY PRACTICE TIME      9am – 4pm; MT HUTT

 *note the mountain road will be shut for private shuttles from Monday morning to event close (Saturday  afternoon) you can book Bike Methven shuttles for Mon/Tus day.

DH Track walk from 4.30pm Wed, access road will be open from 4.30 to 5.30 to shuttle up to walk the track, note no bikes will be on tracks during this time.

Ticket bookings will open on March 1. Competitors can book one time slot on each of the days. Ticket sales close on the 19th of March 12pm.


Ticket Price is $30-pp


Practice time slots are:

9.30am - 11.30am

11.30am - 1.30pm

1.30pm - 3.30pm


Please note there will be no self shuttles on these days & Wednesday however uphill riding tracks will be open.

Location and Getting Here

Mt Hutt Bike Park

Mt. Hutt Bike Park boasts a 40km+ trail network, from a family friendly XC loop to epic single track, double-black diamond technical descents and with some nice climbs to link it all together. All tracks are well maintained with berms, bridge features and jumps. But don’t let the jumps put you off; there are easy lines around all the features and jumps catering for all riders. 

 

The Bike Park is located at the foot of the Mt Hutt Ski Area and can be shuttled using the Mt Hutt Access Road. The Event Village will be located in the Mt Hutt Information Booth Carpark see google map link below:
